The third annual event, sponsored by Rich’s and Rich Family Foundation, will feature free family-friendly activities, live music, and giveaways

Who: West Side Community Services will host the event with activities and giveaways, including:

–          A foam party and bounce house

–          Face painting, strolling magic, and balloon animals

–          Physical activities with the Buffalo Sabres youth hockey program and Y on the Fly

–          A gamelan performance and Balinese dance lesson from Nusantara Arts

–          Live music from Acousticopia

–          Hands-on art activities with City Year Buffalo, Explore & More Children’s Museum, Buffalo String Works, and the Buffalo AKG Art Truck

–          Food and treats for purchase from The Cheesy Chick food truck and the Ice Cream Men

–          Giveaways from Providence Farm Collective, Jewish Family Services of WNY, and Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy

–          Bingo with the West Side Community Services senior program

What: Free family-friendly block party featuring activities for adults and children. (Raffles and food trucks will require purchase.)

Where: In front of, inside of, and behind West Side Community Services at 161 Vermont Street, Buffalo, NY 14213.

When: Wednesday, August 23 from 6-8 p.m. (event is rain or shine)
