Sube a 99 los muertos por erupción del Volcán en Guatemala

Autoridades informaron que 28 personas ya han sido identificadas por sus familiares

La cifra de muertos por la erupción del Volcán de Fuego el pasado domingo en Guatemala se elevó hoy a 99, de los cuales 28 ya han sido identificados, informó hoy el Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses (Inacif).

Este miércoles fueron ingresados 24 cuerpos a las distintas morgues administradas por el Inacif en los departamentos centrales de Sacatepéquez y Guatemala, así como al sureño Escuintla.

Este miércoles también se registró el descenso de material volcánico, flujo piroclástico y lahares en el ala suroriental del coloso, de 3.763 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar, ubicado en el departamento de Escuintla, pasando por encima de varias comunidades en ese lugar.
