What: The Ride For Roswell will kick off its 2018 season tonight at Buffalo Riverworks. Registered 2018 riders, volunteers and those interested in getting involved in this year’s ride will gather to learn about what’s new for this year’s event, collect team recruitment and fundraising tools, meet with local vendors to get ready for Ride Day and have an opportunity to speak with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center President & CEO, Candace S. Johnson, PhD.
At the end of the evening, one lucky rider will win a $1,000 donation to their ride, courtesy of West Herr Automotive Group.
There are fewer than 100 days to go until The Ride For Roswell, taking place on Saturday, June 23rd. It is Roswell Park’s largest fundraising event, and the largest one-day cycling event in the Northeast. Since its beginning in 1996, The Ride has raised more than $42 million for cancer research and patient care at Roswell Park.
Online registration is open for The Ride at rideforroswell.org.
