Canalside is now a four-season destination with over 21 acres of space and one million visitors throughout the year.

The opening of the summer season began with Carnival at Canalside during Memorial Day Weekend. There were a variety of activities for the entire family.  

More Children’s Activities 

A bright red tug boat is now part of outdoor sandbox play area. Children are able to climb aboard and pretend to pilot a large tugboat.

Mark your calendar for every Thursday during the summer for the Canalside Free Concerts. Stevie Wonder fans will enjoy the July 16 concert: The BPO “Buffalo’s All-Star Tribute to Stevie Wonder” Visit www.canalsidebufflao.com for a complete list of concerts.

A Focus on Fitness 

In addition to Yoga, there are new fitness activities presented by BlueCross BlueShield which includes a full body cardio jam session; Taoist Tai Chi; and BLT workouts (butt, thigh, leg).

Building a Waterfront Designation that Highlights the Diversity of Buffalo

– Westside Bazaar food vendors will provide an ethnic food experience for VIP concert fans at two 2015 Canalside Concerts.

– Code Blu Juice Bar owner, DeChantell Lloyd, will introduce a new kiosk this month featuring fresh juices and smoothies, salads and more. She is located near the Canals.

– Trace Assets Protection Service, a security firm, owned by Anita Sanders, is providing security services for Canalside.

A Celebration of Black Music Month 

WUFO AM 1080 moves the Summer Jam to Canalside. On Saturday, June 27 from 12:00pm -8:00pm enjoy live concerts, food trucks, children activities, a job fair, fashion show, vendors and more.
