Oracle Charter High School will hold Open House, Wednesday, February 15th

Buffalo, NY - John Ashwood, Head of School at Oracle Charter High School, invites students interested in attending Oracle in the spring and their families, to attend an Open House Wednesday, February 15, 2017 @4:30 pm. Oracle Charter High School is located at 888 Delaware Avenue, near Bryant Street in Buffalo.

Interested students and their families will have the opportunity to tour the school, meet Oracle’s teachers and administrators, and ask questions of current students.

Oracle’s mission is college prep, and they have a 90% rate of college acceptance. They also offer students a wide variety of clubs, arts, and extra-curricular programs, as well as section VI sports.

Applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be available at the Open House, but can also be downloaded from the school’s website at Completed applications for the 2017-2018 school year can be submitted to Oracle at any time, but should be received by April 1, 2017, in order to be part of the blind enrollment lottery. After April 1st, applications will be accepted in the order received, for any openings not filled by the lottery.

Oracle Charter High School is in its eighth year of operation, and is located at 888 Delaware Avenue in a turn-of-the-century, E. B. Green-designed mansion. The school, whose mission is college prep, has an enrollment of approximately 350 students in grades 9-12. More than 50 faculty and staff are employed at the school.
