Today marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month, a time every year where Latinos across the country are celebrated for their contributions in art, music, food, and more.
Like in previous years, Panorama Hispano News included events in their September issue which can be found in local business around the community or can be viewed at: PanoramaHispanoNews.com.
Throughout the month, Panorama Hispano News will highlight local Latino leaders, organizations and businesses that have contributed to the rich and diverse culture of Western New York and Erie, PA.
The population of Latinos continues to grow, according to the last census information Hispanics in the area have grown over 43% percent in the last 10 years. Although a large portion of the population here is Puerto Rican, it is our hope to highlight and incorporate as many Latino cultures as possible.
Let the celebrations begin!
