The Miss Borinquen of WNY Leadership Development Program committee has carefully watched the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have spoken to experts in the educational field, members of the community and alumni. After much discussion and careful consideration, we concluded that it would not be prudent to run the leadership development program this year. Albeit not our preference, given the current state of affairs in our country this is the safest decision for all concerned.

We understand that our decision comes as a disappointment to the young ladies that look forward to the interactive and challenging experience we offer every year. For that, we are truly sorry. We intend to take this opportunity to further develop our curriculum, so that we can return next year better and stronger than ever!
