Luis Vazquez, the new sensation of Salsa

Luis Vázquez, the latest salsa sensation, continues to accumulate achievements in his artistic career. This time it’s about the positive response to his most recent song, “Peligro,” which has become a tropical genre trend in recent weeks and is now in the “Top 10” of the most listened to songs on the “Tropical” list, as well as in the “Top 40” of the magazine’s general list.
For the young Puerto Rican, the success of the song “Peligro” is a new accomplishment and a reason to rejoice. This is on top of everything he’s accomplished in his brief career, including being named to Billboard Magazine’s “21 Under 21” list.
“This gives me the energy to keep doing what I love,” Vázquez expressed gratitude. On the National Day of La Salsa in Puerto Rico, where I will perform with my band, we already have another reason to celebrate.” It’s worth noting that the young vocalist performed at the festival mentioned above in Orlando (Florida) last year, becoming the youngest musician to do so.
The official video for the song “Peligro” has already received over one million views on YouTube, and the song’s beat is an unmistakable invitation to dance.
“I see it and I can’t believe it. El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Sonora Ponceña and I were all nominated for the Latin American Music Awards for my first album. Now, “Peligro” is on these very important lists. This journey just started, but I have to say that it has been more fascinating than I thought it would be. Thank you for supporting salsa. We will keep working so that young people fall in love with tropical music,” Vázquez said.
It’s not the first time the young Puerto Rican has reached the “Tropical Airplay” list; his song “Tu fan” previously reached #1, making him the youngest artist in history to do so.
His single “Me Tienes Mal” reached the top 10 of the Tropical Album and Tropical AirPlay charts in less than a week, and his album “Comienzos” debuted in the top 10 of the Tropical Album and Tropical AirPlay charts in less than a week.

The young salsero is getting ready to compete in “The Heat Awards,” which will be held in the Dominican Republic this week.
