Jr. Grand Marshal Leadership Development Scholarship Program is Now Accepting Applicants Jr. Grand Marshal Leadership Development Program provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college or Vocational entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege/ prevocational performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Jr. Grand Marshal Leadership Development Program strives to build well-rounded Hispanic gentleman, community leaders and scholars.

Requirements to Participate*

* Submit a complete application

* Must be of Hispanic decent

* Junior or Senior in High School

* Have an average of C plus at time of application

* Parent / Guardian must attend program orientation

* Must provide a recommendation from School Principal, teacher or Guidance counselor

* Copy of Student transcripts must be provided

* Complete short Questions on application

* Must be available for Scholarship Interviews on Sat. June 2, 2018 9am-12pmand Sun     June 10, 2018, from 12PM-3PM

* Must fulfill all requirements& sessions of the program and participate in all Parade        

  activities

* Must be available to attend Mentoring Program & Award Ceremony on Aug 4, 201810AM-12PM

* Must be available to attend Hispanic & Puerto Rican Day Parade Flag Raising Ceremony August 9

* Must be available to march in the 2018Hispanic & Puerto Rican Day Paradeon August 18

* Must be available for Hispanic & Puerto Rican Day Parade activities on August 18 –August 20

* Must provide proof of registration to a College or Training program to be awarded scholarship

Applications are due by May 29,  2018

(Applications are due postmarked no later than May 29, 2018) 

Applicants must have an academic C average at the time of application.  

Interviews will be held on 

Sat. Jun 2, 2018 9am – 12pm & Sun. Jun 10, 12pm- 3pm
