Say Yes Family Support Specialist

Position Summary: With the knowledge of the building Principals, the Say Yes Family Support Specialists are responsible for working directly with students and families who are experiencing difficulties with behavior or other social-emotional issues. Work to facilitate the implementation of Say Yes Buffalo and other partner initiatives and programs in the school in which they are assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, (MSW preferred) and 3 years’ experience in the Social Work field.

Human Resource Assistant

Position Summary: Child & Family Services is seeking a full-time Human Resource Assistant to help support our internal departments and programs. The human resources assistant will support daily HR activities and assist in coordinating various HR processes and relevant documents.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, HR or Communication; at least one (1) year of administrative experience (experience in HR is a plus); advanced proficiency with MS Office; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary; must be able to work with minimal instruction or supervision.
