Rochester (AP) — The massive, brick exterior wall of a building in New York State collapsed as flames ripped through a nearly 100-year-old business late Thursday night into the early hours of Christmas morning.

City Blue Imaging, which dates back to 1926, was destroyed by the fire in Rochester, news outlets reported. More than 70 firefighters battled the blaze that broke out on Christmas Eve night.

A lack of entry points like windows made the fire difficult to extinguish, Rochester Fire Lt. Ryan Fleming told reporters at the scene. Firefighters were able to get out of the building before the wall collapsed. One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the fire, and no civilian injuries were reported.

Heavy machinery was used to break apart the building so water from ladder trucks could reach the flames inside.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
