Frozen Heart

Miles of walking through think blankets of ice; snow blows on the poet’s face before he grabs his ice pick and carves into the solid blue ice that contains your heart.

“Don’t let your poetry go cold” you said to me one winter night before the cruelest of blizzards came through. I remember shivering, I remember your body shaking just to stay warm “ Don’t let your poetry go cold” you said this as icicles attached to your blonde hair before your own heart turned to an icy sculpture.

An Avalanche of emotions rushing down the mountain white snow till the eye can see demolishing everything in its path wiping every laughter, wiping every dream, wiping every trace, wiping every memory of happiness from your face.

Trapped in your icy cell frozen in time, the eternal night when poetry got cold…

An iceberg now sits on the Antarctica landscape of your heart. Will it ever see the sun? Will the sun melt the ice that surrounds it?

Take my ice pick, use these healing words this poetry of mine and now yours to carve night through the ice until getting into your frozen heart that same heart that stopped beating the night when poetry got cold.

BORN FROM A KISS

I was born from a kiss soft lip, moist, lingering lipstick that refused to smear.

I was born from a kiss and live to smell your sweet perfume, to be your love fool, to be the grass you walk on, to be the ginger in your tea.

I was born from a kiss effervescent, passionate, blue, and wild red and flawed and there I shall live.

Furious 7 – April 3^rd.

After defeating Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew are able to return to the United States and live normal lives again as they had wanted. However, Owen’s older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), is after Dom and his crew, seeking revenge for his brother’s death and putting the entire crew in danger once more. After learning of Han’s death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.
