Educación se queda sin sistema de clases virtuales

La agencia pidió a los maestros dedicarse a llamar a los padres esta semana para recopilar informació

San Juan - El Departamento de Educación (DE) informó durante la noche de ayer, domingo, que deshabilitaron la plataforma de Microsoft Team por una falla.

"Esto significa que, mientras los técnicos trabajan, la plataforma no estará disponible. Nuestro interés es mantener la seguridad de la información del personal docente, no docente y, sobre todo, de nuestros estudiantes", leen las expresiones de la agencia publicadas en sus redes sociales.

Además, sostuvieron que: "En esta primera semana de clases los maestros y el personal de apoyo debe contactar a los estudiantes, y sus familias, para identificar las oportunidades educativas y ajustarlas a las alternativas de estudio. Una vez el sistema esté disponible, el principal oficial de Informática del DE lo anunciará".

Se esperaba que hoy, lunes, los estudiantes del sistema público de enseñanza iniciaran sus clases virtuales en medio de la pandemia del coronavirus COVID-19.
