AND THE BENEFITS OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT CAREER
EVENT: Officers from the Buffalo Police Department will make a stop at The PUCHO OLIVENCIA CENTER in Buffalo where they’ll talk to city residents, who are interested in a law enforcement career, about BPD21C.
Mayor Byron Brown’s Buffalo Police Department: 21st Century (BPD21C) program is a bold ‘first-of-its-kind’ program that will provide up to 50 successful City of Buffalo residents with a full scholarship worth $6,800 to attend the ECC Law Enforcement Training Academy, beginning in January. The deadline to apply is November 13th. To obtain a BPD21C application, go to the City of Buffalo website at www.city-buffalo.com.
