Counselor II–Bilingual Spanish.

The Counselor II works with clients who have mental health, substance use, or co-occurring concerns by providing individual, group therapy and support services, as well as crisis counseling. Applicants must have Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling plus one-year of professional work experience in a clinical mental health setting. Plus professional certification; LMSW, MHC-P, CASAC, LMFT. Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.

Peer Specialist.

The Peer Specialist delivers peer support services with rehabilitation and recovery focus, with a primary goal of connecting individuals to community based recovery supports consistent with the treatment/recovery plan. Associate’s Degree in Human Services plus two years of advocacy experience in a human service agency or health care facility OR HS diploma or equivalency and 4yrs., experience in a human service agency or health care facility AND Must be a “peer” and have a working knowledge of the mental health system and recovery process. Must have personal “lived” experience as a former or current user of substance use treatment services or have personal substance use recovery experience and be comfortable with self-disclosure as needed. OMH Certified Peer Specialist or OASAS Certified Peer Advocate or provisional certification require. AND a valid NYS drivers’ license, automobile in good working order, must have Accredited NYS Defensive driving course; or obtain within 15 days of hire.

Registered Nurse – (Various sites).

The Registered Nurse provides group and individual treatment. Develops treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, and formulates a diagnostic impression. Adheres to basic standards of nursing in conjunction with all NYS licensing standards. Applicants must have Associates degree from an accredited school for professional nursing and four (4) years of paid work experience as a professional nurse and at least three (3) of which have been in a mental health setting OR Bachelor’s degree in professional nursing AND at least one (1) year of paid work experience in a mental health setting AND current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Care Manager – Children’s Health Home- Cheektowaga, N.Y.

Care Managers provide outreach and enrollment services to children presumed to meet eligibility requirements of New York State’s Children’s Health Home program. Applicants must have a BA with 2yrs relevant experience OR RN with 2yrs relevant experience, OR MA with 1 year relevant experience.
