(Buffalo, NY) In preparation for the 14th annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade, on August 11, 2016 Mayor Brown and Parade president Yoloanda Martinez-Rodroquez raise the flag at Niagara Square
Buffalo, Mayor Byron W. Brown joined Dunkirk Mayor Willie Rosas and members of the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade Association of WNY for a flag raising ceremony, kicking off a series of sponsored events that celebrate Buffalo’s Hispanic Heritage.
The event served to announce this years Grand Marshall Mayor Willie Rosas, this years Jr. Grand Marshal Lukas Alvira and Miss Borinquen Latina Mercé Breon DeJesus

The 14th Annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY is scheduled for Saturday, August 20th, 2016 – starting at 1:00 pm in front of Buffalo City Hall and marching north on Niagara Street.
