PUSH BUFFALO is co-hosting with Councilmember Rivera and the Northland Workforce Training Center this Saturday at Lafayette High School, 370 Lafayette Ave at 10am:
This Saturday, May 19th at 10am PUSH is co-hosting an information session with Councilmember Rivera and representatives from the Northland Workforce Training Center (http://www.northlandwtc.org/). We’ll be promoting a green jobs training program we launched this winter that includes no cost training in solar, weatherization, environmental clean-up, and eco-landscaping. We’ve begun enrolling people in training and will have classes on offer thru the end of 2019. The Northland reps will be discussing available training at the workforce center once it opens in Fall 2018.
